How to Make Bulk Payments (Local Transfer)

Introduction


The Bulk Payment feature allows you to initiate and process several payments in one flow, helping you save time and reduce repetitive steps.

By following this process, you can efficiently manage payments to multiple vendors or beneficiaries at once while maintaining accurate records within your account. This guide will walk you through how to create, review, and complete bulk payments successfully. Let’s get started!


To begin:

  1. Login to the Merchant dashboard
  2. Click on “Payments
  3. Select Local transfers as shown below:



  4. Click on “Make new transfer”. Click the “Bulk” tab, and then select “Make New Bulk Payout” as shown below:



  5. Download the CSV template, fill it in using the set instructions, then upload the CSV file with your list of beneficiaries. You can find the template on the right-hand side of the page.




  6. Select the account you want to make the payment from, select “Next”



  7. Review the uploaded file as shown below. If there are any errors, you can either make changes or remove the affected item from the list.



  8. Should you wish to add another beneficiary at this stage, click on “Add another beneficiary” to add as many beneficiaries as you want. As shown above
  9. Finalize the process with your preferred authentication method and click “Complete transaction.”






    Congratulations! You have just made a bulk payment on Duplo!

    • Can I add new beneficiaries while creating a bulk payment?
      • Yes. While setting up your bulk payment, you can either select existing beneficiaries or create new ones by clicking “Enter a new beneficiary.”
    • Is there a limit to how many beneficiaries I can add?
      • You can add multiple beneficiaries by clicking “Add another beneficiary” repeatedly. However, the current limit of beneficiaries that you add is 100.
    • Can I review all payments before completing the transaction?
      • Yes. Before finalizing, you’ll be redirected to a review page where you can confirm all payment details and select the account to debit
    • What happens after I click “Start bulk transfer”?
      • You’ll be required to authenticate the transaction using your email. Once completed, all payments will be processed, and the transaction will be finalized.
